Okay, there is not Thai in downtown Spokane except for Thai on 1st. Their food is pretty darn good, but you can't just run in and have an affordable lunch combo to go. Every other Thai place I have been to has some sort of combo option available at lunchtime.
Usually you can get rice, Phad Thai and a selection of Curries or other specialties for $6 to $8. If they would offer that I'd be there almost every day.
If you feel the same, leave a comment below and I'll take this as a petition to the owner and see if we can convince them to offer lunch combos! Tell your friends!

Please, pleasee, please give us some combos!!!
Phad Thai and some curry dish in a combo...that would be nice.
Come on Thai on 1st.
Everybody loves an affordable Thai lunch combo. Phad Thai, rice and curry - YUM!
Have you tried the buffet @ Riverview Thai? It's a little farther if you're working in the heart of Spokane (about 1 mile, just behind Hamilton/Trent intersection). There is plenty of free parking and they have a great selection of delicious Thai food (7 or 8 entrees, spring rolls and soup). Pahd Thai and some of the other menu items that are not conducive to buffet dining are available from the menu. Very quick way to have a great lunch and get back to work.
I love Thai on 1st. I go there at least once per month (except for when I was pregnant and couldn't handle the hot). It is one of my favorite restaurants.
That said, I do wish they offered a lunch combo with, say, steamed rice, phad thai, and an entree of sorts (maybe even add a spring roll for a buck).
I love Riverview Thai, but it still takes a bit too long just to go grab some take out. Tell your friends to leave a note!
